The Eleventh of September

A memorial by Tape Art

490 tape drawings across Manhattan

The Eleventh of September is a memorial by Tape Art. The artists created 490 drawings of life-sized figures using the temporary medium of tape. Each figure is dedicated to one person killed on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center, and remembers others. Search for a name, or choose a heart on the map to follow the figures through the city.
