The Eleventh of September

A memorial by Tape Art

490 tape drawings across Manhattan

The Eleventh of September is a memorial by Tape Art. Along four heart-shaped paths through Manhattan, the artists created 490 life-size figures in temporary tape. Each figure is dedicated to one person killed on September 11, 2001 and remembers others. Search for a name, or choose a heart on the map to follow the figures through the city.
