And beyond that, the smoke of another plane crash.1:06I return to the city. In the circle below is the place I originally drew my figure.1:12It is near the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel. Also near the entrance were a dozen or so police1:17officers. As the drawing had just been completed, an officer asked me about it. She was okay with1:23my explanation and let me round it off. Two minutes later, two more officers, who were not1:30made their opinions known.1:32I was not allowed to document the piece before removing it.1:35We parted ways tensely.1:38I would like to thank the parking lot attendant in this space,1:41across from this location, for letting me draw Carl Binney.1:46So it was completely in keeping with routine1:48that Mr. Binney telephoned his wife the morning of September 11th1:52at about 8.40 a.m. while she was en route from the couple's home in Staten Island1:55to her job in Brooklyn just to check in and say hello.1:59Minutes later, he called again.2:00He told me about the plane, Mrs. Beeney said.2:03He said he was going.2:04I told him to be careful.2:06That Tuesday was to have been a day off for Firefire Beeney.← Location 130Heart Two · Location 131Location 132 →
