He was drawn in October of 2002. His drawing is counting 10 people.0:38On the occasions that we have stopped to draw on the sides of delis or convenience stores,0:42there is a curious possibility of people popping out of the ground next to us.0:47We often draw between the door and the service opening in the sidewalk.0:52walk. This service opening serves as an opening for large urban prairie dogs that appear occasionally0:59to corral boxes of soda and chips into their underground lairs. These subterranean creatures1:05are almost always friendly and allow us to play in their prairies. The race seemed more important1:11than ever. For 18 years, on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Dennis Cross competed in the Turkey1:16a five-kilometer race held in Flushing Meadows, Queens, where firefighters ran for charity.1:22Now he would be absent.1:24His wife, Joanne, used to operate a fitness studio and induced him to run with her,1:28but once the children arrived, she stopped running.1:30That was 15 years ago.1:32His favorite saying was,1:33Take care of the men, and the men will take care of you.← Location 182Heart Two · Location 183Location 184 →
