This is Captain Martin Egan Jr. He was drawn in October of 2002. His drawing0:39is counting eight people. TJ Maxx gets to call this building theirs. We do not have0:46any building we can call ours. None. In fact, most people don't. So it is an inevitable0:52fact that if we are going to draw on walls, none of those walls are going to be ours by0:57deed, but only by our deeds. We are often asked if we get permission from building owners.1:04For the last decade, we have always sought and received the thumbs up to tape. Respect1:10always gets approval. On a whim, the fire department captain tried bungee jumping, then1:16skydiving. He ran the New York City Marathon in 2000. When he saw a near century old colonial1:21colonial-style house next to a pond in Great Kills, Staten Island,1:25he decided he would buy it, completely gut it, and put it back together again.1:29The only issue was that Captain Egan, 36, had no construction experience.← Location 203Heart Two · Location 204Location 205 →
