He was drawn in March of 2003.0:57His drawing is counting five people.1:00This location is a park between two large towers.1:04One of them is a trump.1:06The park is filled with mothers, nannies, and the children they are looking after.1:10I approach the adults with the offer of giving an impromptu presentation of the project we are doing,1:17answer questions from the kids, and draw a person for them.1:19I drew Robert Jay Hayes while explaining that we are honoring the people that had lost their lives on September 11th.1:27The kids asked lots of questions about how we make the persons with tape and if I knew Robert Hayes.1:34I answered by saying that I was getting to know all the people that we were drawing and spending a lot of time with them and thinking about them.1:40The mothers were relieved to have a breather from supervising and provided us with positive feedback.1:45back. It was great to share the missions and thoughts about our intentions so directly1:49with an audience consisting solely of the people of the land that we draw on.1:57Robert Hayes sported a year-round tan because almost everywhere he went, he also sported his2:02surfboard. It did not matter whether he was headed for business or pleasure. In fact, his wife,2:08Debbie Hayes, said it was not uncommon to see him walking through Logan International Airport in2:12in Boston in a business suit with a briefcase in one hand and his black and white surfboard in the other.← Location 252Heart Three · Location 253Location 254 →
