It's what happens1:03when your life becomes your work, and Mike has pretty much given up every1:08every single thing other than eating and sleeping to get this done.1:12So he stopped making money, only makes the bare minimum1:16to basically pay our bills for the whole project.1:20Stopped exercising.1:21The entire time I've known Mike, he hasn't had any friends.1:25Isn't that so crazy?1:27Like, Mike used to live in Fort Thunder.1:29He used to be part of an artist community,1:30and this project has completely isolated him.1:34He used to, and then it was different because he lived at the Potato Palace,1:38He was living with Rob and Eric, and then by default, that community would come over to that studio.1:44And then we moved into our house, and then a couple years after that,1:48we realized there's not even time for him to walk around the block from our house to the studio,1:53so now we have the studio at our house so that he can wake up and start working1:57and then work until the last minute until he falls asleep.2:00He had been away on business for three weeks and was eager to get home to Los Angeles.2:04As he boarded American Flight 11, he called his wife's voicemail to let her know he would be home soon.2:12He didn't want to disturb me in the night, his wife said.2:15He said, Hi sweetie, I've just boarded the flight and I'll see you in Los Angeles this afternoon.← Location 368Heart Four · Location 369Location 370 →
