East River? East River, because we're on the east side.0:57So this is a bizarre instance of kids enforcing the law.1:01Really?1:02Andrew was drawing, and Andrew isn't the most intimidating public artist ever.1:07And a couple of passerbys, young females, took it upon themselves to inform him of his wrongdoing.1:14Before having any real knowledge of what it is exactly he was doing,1:19They just saw somebody drawing on a wall in broad daylight in public and said to themselves,1:26I've been taught that's wrong so what he's doing is wrong and I'm going to tell him so.1:30And Andrew I think handled it fairly well.1:33It didn't stop so much to engage in a real conversation but I think he stood his ground1:38as I recall.1:39I remember the fashion being sported by those young women was almost as snappy as their1:45reaction.1:46They were snappily dressed.1:51Everyone also knew his photography.1:53His daughter recalled,1:55When Mr. Mariani first set up a darkroom in the bathroom in their house and taught her how to develop film,2:02I loved going in there with him, she said.2:05Mrs. Peter said one of the few things that competed with her father's knowledge...← Location 470Heart Four · Location 471Location 472 →
