Halfway through the drawing, the curtain suddenly pulled back and there stood1:22a man a foot away from me, divided only by glass and tape. He was puzzled by the drawing1:29and studied it with a big smile on his face while I tried to explain in mine what exactly1:34I was doing. A group of sidewalk travelers saw our exchange and stopped to watch. Then,1:40with the ease of good friends, they encouraged the window man to pose inside of the silhouette1:45wet as I was drawing it. As this light-hearted moment unfolded, I cherished it and hoped that1:50the future would bring more. Alberto Dominguez was a bag handler for Contes Airline and the host1:59of a Spanish music radio show. He was a leading figure in Sydney's Spanish community.
